Job Overview
Fatburger Sterling is currently seeking experienced Cooks to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods. You will plan menus, determine portion sizes, estimate food requirements and costs, monitor and order supplies, inspect kitchens and food service areas, train staff in food preparation and handling, order supplies and equipment, supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintain inventory and records, clean the kitchen and work areas, and manage kitchen operations.
Requirements:
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Previous experience as a cook or in a similar food service role is preferred.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
Inspect kitchens and food service areas
Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
Order supplies and equipment
