OOD finalist for nationwide award
Ontario OUT of DOORS (OOD) has been nominated for Greatest Digital Version on the 2023 Canadian On-line Publishing Awards (COPA).
OOD was shortlisted within the Shopper class, for its 2023-2024 Searching Annual. Finalists have been named Dec. 1. The 15th annual publishing business awards will likely be held in Toronto in February.
Final 12 months, OOD was a runner-up in two classes for the awards, together with Greatest Multicultural Story for Meghan Sutherland’s profile on Brown Woman Out of doors World founder Demiesha Dennis, and Greatest Digital Version Publication, for its August 2022 challenge.
OOD was beforehand nominated for a 2020 COPA award for Assistant Editor Steve Galea’s How the spring bear hunt was misplaced and received. The 20-plus 12 months retrospective was a finalist within the Shopper Life-style Article/Sequence class.
