Responsibilities:
Perform welding and assembly tasks according to specifications and blueprints.
Operate welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, or arc welders to join metal components.
Ensure the quality and accuracy of welds, conducting inspections and making necessary adjustments.
Perform assembly tasks, including fitting and aligning parts, using hand tools and power tools.
Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and welding symbols.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
Troubleshoot and resolve any welding or assembly issues that may arise.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a welder-assembler or similar role is required.
Strong proficiency in welding techniques
Knowledge of different metal types and their welding properties.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and precision.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
Valid welding certifications are a plus.
